What your customers look for on your website
- What do you do?
- Design, landscaping, paving, maintenance: each service a plant label with its name, a short explanation and a price where you give one.
- Do you come to my area?
- The places you cover, one by one.
- Show me something you made
- Your own gardens, from two photos up. Without photos of your own that block stays off.
- How do I ask for a quote?
- With the quote form, in two steps. The request lands in your account and your email.
What’s on your gardening website
Top to bottom, as in the example of Westbrook Landscapes. A block you leave empty stays off, and with up to five pages your services, the part about you and contact each get a page of their own.
- At the top
- In the example, “A garden that works in every season”: your name, what you do and one button to fill in the form.
- Services and prices
- Each service on its own line with the price you set; the example has 6 lines, such as ‘Garden design’, ‘Landscaping’ and ‘Paving and patios’.
- Booking
- Only with Online booking: customers pick a service such as ‘Garden design’, a day and a time themselves; you set how long each service takes in your account, where the calendar is too.
- Photos
- Photos of your own work, only if you upload at least 2.
- About you
- In the example, “Draw first, then plant”: who you are and how you work, with your own photo if you have one.
- Reviews
- Only reviews from your own customers that you add yourself; without reviews this block stays off.
- Where you work
- The places you cover, one by one; the example has 7: Blackrock, Dún Laoghaire, Dalkey, Stillorgan and more.
- Request a quote
- Only with the quote form and inbox: customers fill in ‘Type of work’, ‘Address of the job’ and ‘Preferred start date’, and each request lands in the inbox in your account.
- Contact
- In the example, “Ask for a quote”: call, WhatsApp and email, and your address with a directions link if you show it.

Questions from gardeners and landscapers
How do quote requests come in?
Through the quote form on your website. Your customer says what they want for their garden and how big it is. Every request lands in the inbox in your account and you get an email. The form costs €18.15 to set up and €29.04 a year, incl. VAT (it comes with the Tradesman package). Without the form, customers simply call, message or email you.
Can I offer garden maintenance as a regular service?
Yes, as a service with your own description and price, per visit or per hour for example. Months or set frequencies you don’t give, the AI doesn’t add.
How do I show my gardens?
Add photos while you fill in your details or later in your account. From two photos of your own, a block with your work appears on your website.
Do I need a page for every town I work in?
No. You name the towns or the region you cover and they’re on your website. Pages that differ only by a place name look like a trick to Google.
Will people find me when they search for a gardener?
Your website runs on your own domain name, Google can read it, and the code says what kind of business you are, your address if you show it, your hours and the places you cover. When someone searches “landscape gardener near me”, Google often shows businesses on the map first; for that you need a free Google Business Profile. Your account has a short checklist to set it up and to ask customers for a review. Nobody can promise you a top spot, and I won’t either.
How much does a website cost for a gardener or landscaper?
Website, 1 page: €67.76 the first year, then €43.56 a year, incl. VAT. Your services as plant labels, the places you cover and your own gardens on one page. Website, 1 page, with quote form and inbox: €114.95 the first year, then €72.60 a year. A request for a new garden or maintenance, with the size of the garden and photos. Tradesman: up to 5 pages with quote form and inbox: €143.99 the first year, then €72.60 a year. Design and build, maintenance, your own gardens and contact each on a page of their own, with the quote form on them. The first year covers making your website, hosting, https and the domain name (a new one in your name, or your own); the years after cover hosting, the domain name and the add-ons you keep. Excl. VAT, that’s €56, then €36 a year.
How soon is my website online?
You see it while you fill in your details, on a computer and on a phone; the copy is written in about half a minute. Once you approve it and pay, it goes online straight away. Then I check it myself, within one working day. If the system flags something, I check first and the site goes online after that. Already have a domain name? Your website runs on it as soon as you’ve set the DNS records at your registrar; you get an email when it’s ready.

Your domain name is registered in your name, and you can download your whole website as a zip file at any time.
