About Tegnest
Tegnest makes websites for tradespeople and small businesses: the hairdresser, the plumber, the driving school. You choose a design for your trade, fill in your details and see your website straight away.
Tegnest is a trade name of Dario Albers, a sole proprietorship in Enschede, the Netherlands. Email to hallo@tegnest.com goes straight to the owner.
I’m Dario. I check every new website myself.
Tegnest isn’t an agency or a call centre: it’s me, a one-person business in Enschede, the Netherlands. The designs for each trade are made in advance, so you don’t pay for a designer’s hours.
When your website goes online, I check it within one working day. A question first? Just call or message me.
I answer on working days, in English or Dutch.
How your website is made
You fill in the facts
Your services, prices, opening hours, service area and contact details. You add those yourself; the AI doesn't make them up.
AI writes the copy
Based on what you filled in. Our system stops made-up facts, like figures, years, quality marks or promises you didn't mention. AI can still make mistakes, so you read everything.
You approve it
Only then you pay, and your website goes online straight away. I check it myself within one working day. Not right? Then you pay nothing.
What stays yours
- Your domain name (.eu, .com, .nl, .be, .fr or .at) is registered in your name. If you want to leave, you get the transfer code.

- You cancel in your account or by email. The details are in the questions and in our terms.
- Which services we use to run your website, and where your data is stored, is in the data processing agreement and the privacy statement.
The name
Teg- comes from the Latin tegere: to cover, to shelter. With nest after it: a sheltered place for your business on the internet.
