What people look for on a food truck’s website

People looking for your truck want to know three things: what you sell, when you’re out and where. Your site writes your menu with prices on a kraft roll, puts your trading days on the card and stamps your regular pitches under it. The message button sits at the top, for anyone asking where you are today or booking you for a party.

What’s on the menu, and how much?
Everything you sell with the price you type, by hand on the kraft roll; a long menu runs into two columns.
When are you out?
Your trading days and times on the card, today circled; days off say “closed”.
Where do you park up?
Your regular pitches, a market or a business park, each as a stamp. You don’t have to show an address.
Can you come to our event?
One tap to message or call you. With the order form extra they send what, for which day and roughly when.

Questions food truck owners ask

I’m somewhere different every day. Can the site show that?

Your regular pitches go in your area and your days in your opening hours; the site shows both. A timetable with a different pitch per day isn’t possible yet. When things change, you update your pitches and hours in your account and they go live straight away.

Can people order and pay ahead online?

Paying on your site isn’t possible: there’s no webshop and no cart. Ordering ahead works by WhatsApp or phone, or with the order form extra as an order slip.

Will the site say my food is homemade or vegan?

Only if you type it. Homemade, fresh, organic, vegan, allergen information or “the best in town”: our system never adds those on its own.

The examples show a bakery. Does it suit a truck?

Yes: it’s the same design with your name as the stamp, your own menu and your own colour. Without an address there’s no route link, just your pitches.
