Next to the other designs: restaurant and café website example
The design for restaurants and cafés, shown with a made-up restaurant. Yours carries your name, your menu and your hours.
What people look up before they come in
Before they walk over, people check three things: are you open now, what’s on, and roughly what a coffee and a slice cost. Your site answers all three on the first screen: the board by the door at the top, your hours as on the glass with today marked, and the menu the way you type it.
- Are you open now?
- Your hours as on the door, today marked, and the board at the top says “Open today” or “Closed today”, so nobody walks over to a closed shutter.
- What’s on the menu?
- Type "Breakfast: Porridge" or "Cakes: Carrot cake" and each item lands under its heading on the menu card, with the price you set.
- Can we get a table?
- Tap to ring you, or the link to your reservation system if you use one. The site never promises that a table is waiting.
- What’s it like inside?
- Your own photos of the counter, the room or the terrace, when you have them. We never show another café’s room or someone else’s food.
Questions from café owners
The cakes change every week. Can I update the menu myself?
Yes, in your account: items, prices and hours, and your change is live straight away. Keep what changes often short, like "Cake of the week", so the card stays true.
Will it say our milk is oat, our beans are organic or our cakes are vegan?
Only if you type it. Words like organic, homemade, vegan or halal, and anything about gluten or allergens, never go on your site unless you wrote them.
Can people order online or get a delivery?
No. There is no online ordering, delivery or payment on your site. Takeaway or delivery is only mentioned when you say you do it, and then people ring you or come by.
Will people nearby find my café on Google?
Your site runs on your own domain, Google can read it, and its code says it’s a place to eat and drink, with your address and hours. For the map results you also need a Google Business Profile. Nobody can promise you the top spot, and neither do we.
One price a year. Domain and hosting included.
First year €67.76 incl. VAT (€56 excl. VAT), then €43.56 a year (€36 excl. VAT). You only pay once you’ve seen your website and approved it. Want to stop? Your domain name stays yours and you can download your website as a zip. The domain name: a new one (.eu, .com, .nl, .be, .fr or .at) registered in your name, or one you already own.
Why it costs less
No agency hours and no surprises. This is where the price difference comes from, and what you can check yourself.
