A bakery website: today’s bread, your prices, and orders by phone

People want to see what you bake and what it costs, whether you’re open today and how to order a cake for Saturday. Your site writes your bread and cakes with their prices on a kraft roll and puts a message or call button up top. No webshop, no cart: orders come to you by WhatsApp, phone or an order slip.

First year €67.76 with hosting and a domain name (a new one or your own), then €43.56 a year, incl. VAT.

Free to look. You pay only once you’ve seen it and approve.

Excl. VAT: €56 the first year, then €36 a year.

Questions from bakers

Is this a webshop?

No. Customers see what you sell and order by phone, WhatsApp or the order form; they pay you when they pick up. No online payments or delivery slots.

How do orders come in?

Through the quote form on your website. Your customer writes what they want and the day they’ll pick it up. Every request lands in the inbox in your account and you get an email. The form costs €18.15 to set up and €29.04 a year, incl. VAT (it comes with the Tradesman package). Without the form, customers simply call, message or email you.

Can I list allergens?

Yes, in the description of each product, as you type them. The AI never writes “gluten-free” or “organic” unless you do.

I run a florist or a food truck. Does this fit?

Yes, the design is for small shops that sell goods: a bakery, a florist, a food truck. You put in your own products, prices and where you stand.

Will people find my shop on Google?

Your website runs on your own domain name, Google can read it, and the code says what kind of business you are, your address if you show it, your hours and the places you cover. When someone searches “bakery near me”, Google often shows businesses on the map first; for that you need a free Google Business Profile. Your account has a short checklist to set it up and to ask customers for a review. Nobody can promise you a top spot, and I won’t either.

How much does a website cost for a bakery?

Website, 1 page: €67.76 the first year, then €43.56 a year, incl. VAT. Your bread, cakes and pastries with prices, your hours and orders by phone or WhatsApp. Website, 1 page, with quote form and inbox: €114.95 the first year, then €72.60 a year. An order form for cakes or a large order, with the pickup day. Tradesman: up to 5 pages with quote form and inbox: €143.99 the first year, then €72.60 a year. Bread, pastries, cakes to order and your shop each on a page of their own, with the order form on them. The first year covers making your website, hosting, https and the domain name (a new one in your name, or your own); the years after cover hosting, the domain name and the add-ons you keep. Excl. VAT, that’s €56, then €36 a year.

How soon is my website online?

You see it while you fill in your details, on a computer and on a phone; the copy is written in about half a minute. Once you approve it and pay, it goes online straight away. Then I check it myself, within one working day. If the system flags something, I check first and the site goes online after that. Already have a domain name? Your website runs on it as soon as you’ve set the DNS records at your registrar; you get an email when it’s ready.

About paying, your domain name, cancelling and who writes the copy: see the general questions.

Your domain name is registered in your name, and you can download your whole website as a zip file at any time.
