What your customers look for on your website

Will you come out for a leak?
Call sits large at the top. “Emergency” or “within the hour” only appears if you type it yourself.
Do you do flat roofs or slate and tile?
Your services the way the trade splits them: flat roof and pitched roof, each with a cross-section drawing.
What does a new roof cost?
Prices per m² or from, where you give them.
Do you work in my area?
The places you cover, one by one.

    What’s on your roofing website

Top to bottom, as in the example of Keystone Roofing. A block you leave empty stays off, and with up to five pages your services, the part about you and contact each get a page of their own.

    At the top
In the example, “Roof leaking? Call us”: your name, what you do and one button to call you.
    Services and prices
Each service on its own line with the price you set; the example has 6 lines, such as ‘Roof leak repair’, ‘New flat roof (felt)’ and ‘EPDM rubber roof’.
    Booking
Only with Online booking: customers pick a service such as ‘Roof leak repair’, a day and a time themselves; you set how long each service takes in your account, where the calendar is too.
    About you
In the example, “About Keystone”: who you are and how you work, with your own photo if you have one.
    Photos
Photos of your own work, only if you upload at least 2.
    Reviews
Only reviews from your own customers that you add yourself; without reviews this block stays off.
    Where you work
The places you cover, one by one; the example has 8: Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Castleknock, Clonsilla and more.
Request a quote or an inspection
Only with the quote form and inbox: customers fill in ‘Type of work’, ‘Is it leaking now’, ‘Roof area in m²’ and ‘Address of the job’, and each request lands in the inbox in your account.
    Contact
In the example, “Call, message or email”: call, WhatsApp and email, and your address with a directions link if you show it.

One price a year. Domain and hosting included.

First year €67.76 incl. VAT (€56 excl. VAT), then €43.56 a year (€36 excl. VAT). You only pay once you’ve seen your website and approved it. Want to stop? Your domain name stays yours and you can download your website as a zip. The domain name: a new one (.eu, .com, .nl, .be, .fr or .at) registered in your name, or one you already own.

    Questions from roofers

Can I show that I come out quickly for leaks?

Yes, if you do: put it with your services or strong points, with the hours that are true. The AI never writes “24/7” or “within the hour” unless you type it.

How do quote requests come in?

Through the quote form on your website. Your customer describes their roof and what needs doing. Every request lands in the inbox in your account and you get an email. The form costs €18.15 to set up and €29.04 a year, incl. VAT (it comes with the Tradesman package). Without the form, customers simply call, message or email you.

Can I list asbestos removal as a service?

Only if your business is trained and licensed for it where you work. If you’re not, leave it out; the AI never adds it.

Can I mention a guarantee on my work?

Only if you type it yourself. Guarantees and their terms you don’t mention, the AI never puts on your website.

Will people find me when they search for a roofer?

Your website runs on your own domain name, Google can read it, and the code says what kind of business you are, your address if you show it, your hours and the places you cover. When someone searches “roofer near me”, Google often shows businesses on the map first; for that you need a free Google Business Profile. Your account has a short checklist to set it up and to ask customers for a review. Nobody can promise you a top spot, and I won’t either.

How much does a website cost for a roofer?

Website, 1 page: €67.76 the first year, then €43.56 a year, incl. VAT. Your number large at the top, flat and pitched roofs and the places you cover on one page. Website, 1 page, with quote form and inbox: €114.95 the first year, then €72.60 a year. A request with the kind of roof, what’s wrong and photos, for an inspection or a quote. Tradesman: up to 5 pages with quote form and inbox: €143.99 the first year, then €72.60 a year. Flat roofs, pitched roofs, leaks and the places you cover each on a page of their own, with the quote form on them. The first year covers making your website, hosting, https and the domain name (a new one in your name, or your own); the years after cover hosting, the domain name and the add-ons you keep. Excl. VAT, that’s €56, then €36 a year.

How soon is my website online?

You see it while you fill in your details, on a computer and on a phone; the copy is written in about half a minute. Once you approve it and pay, it goes online straight away. Then I check it myself, within one working day. If the system flags something, I check first and the site goes online after that. Already have a domain name? Your website runs on it as soon as you’ve set the DNS records at your registrar; you get an email when it’s ready.

About paying, your domain name, cancelling and who writes the copy: see the general questions.

    Why it costs less

No agency hours and no surprises. This is where the price difference comes from, and what you can check yourself.

Designs made in advance, per trade

Each design is built once for one trade. You fill in your details instead of paying for a designer’s hours.

    AI writes, I check

AI drafts the text from what you tell it. I check every new website myself, within one working day after it goes online.

You pay after you’ve seen it

You see your own website first and only pay once you approve it.

    Nothing locked in

Your domain name is registered in your name, and you can download your whole website as a zip file at any time.
