A holiday home website where guests ask you directly if it’s free

Guests want to know what the house is like, how many it sleeps, what it costs and whether their dates are free. Your site shows your own house and prices, and guests send you their dates. Nothing is booked or paid without you.

First year €67.76 with hosting and a domain name (a new one or your own), then €43.56 a year, incl. VAT.

Free to look. You pay only once you’ve seen it and approve.

Excl. VAT: €56 the first year, then €36 a year.

What does it cost?
Your own prices per period. Add what guests always pay, such as cleaning.
Are my dates free?

What’s on your holiday home website

Top to bottom, as in the example of Curlew Cottage. A block you leave empty stays off, and with up to five pages your services, the part about you and contact each get a page of their own.

At the top
In the example, “A small holiday cottage in Dingle, Kerry”: your name, what you do and one button to fill in the form.
About you
In the example, “The house”: who you are and how you work, with your own photo if you have one.
Services and prices
Each service on its own line with the price you set; the example has 4 lines, such as ‘A week in July and August’, ‘A week outside the summer holidays’ and ‘Weekend (Friday to Monday)’.
Photos
Photos of your own work, only if you upload at least 2.
Reviews
Only reviews from your own customers that you add yourself; without reviews this block stays off.
Contact
In the example, “Ask if it’s free”: call, WhatsApp and email, and your address with a directions link if you show it.

Questions from holiday home owners

Can guests book and pay straight away?

No, and that’s on purpose: guests ask whether their dates are free, you answer and arrange the rest with them. If you already use a booking site or calendar, your website links to it; that costs nothing extra.

My area asks for a registration number. Where does it go?

Fill it in with your details. It then shows in the house book and at the bottom of every page.

Will it say my price is all-in?

No. What’s in the price, you add yourself. Words like “all-inclusive”, stars, “luxury” or a discount never go on by themselves.

Can I change my prices myself?

Yes. Prices, the number of guests and your arrival and departure times: you change them yourself in your account, for free, and they’re live straight away.

Will guests find my house on Google?

Your website runs on your own domain name, Google can read it, and the code says what kind of business you are, your address if you show it, your hours and the places you cover. When someone searches “holiday cottage Kerry”, Google often shows businesses on the map first; for that you need a free Google Business Profile. Your account has a short checklist to set it up and to ask customers for a review. Nobody can promise you a top spot, and I won’t either.

How much does a website cost for a holiday home?

Website, 1 page: €67.76 the first year, then €43.56 a year, incl. VAT. Your house, your prices and a form where guests ask whether their dates are available. Website, up to 5 pages: €102.85 the first year, then €43.56 a year. The house, the area, prices and contact each on a page of their own. The first year covers making your website, hosting, https and the domain name (a new one in your name, or your own); the years after cover hosting, the domain name and the add-ons you keep. Excl. VAT, that’s €56, then €36 a year.

How soon is my website online?

You see it while you fill in your details, on a computer and on a phone; the copy is written in about half a minute. Once you approve it and pay, it goes online straight away. Then I check it myself, within one working day. If the system flags something, I check first and the site goes online after that. Already have a domain name? Your website runs on it as soon as you’ve set the DNS records at your registrar; you get an email when it’s ready.

About paying, your domain name, cancelling and who writes the copy: see the general questions.

Designs made in advance, per trade

Each design is built once for one trade. You fill in your details instead of paying for a designer’s hours.

Nothing locked in

Your domain name is registered in your name, and you can download your whole website as a zip file at any time.
