What your learners look for on your website
- What does a lesson cost, and a package?
- Your lessons and packages with prices; the test goes on its own line.
- Can I do a trial lesson?
- WhatsApp up front; with online booking your learner plans a trial lesson themselves.
- Where do lessons start?
- The places you pick up from, one by one.
- Who is the instructor?
- A part about you, with your own photo if you have one.
What’s on your driving school website
Top to bottom, as in the example of Green Light Driving School. A block you leave empty stays off, and with up to five pages your services, the part about you and contact each get a page of their own.
- At the top
- In the example, “Driving lessons in Galway, from first lesson to test”: your name, what you do and one button to message you on WhatsApp.
- Services and prices
- Each service on its own line with the price you set; the example has 6 lines, such as ‘First lesson (60 minutes)’, ‘Single lesson (60 minutes)’ and ‘EDT, 12 lessons’.
- Booking
- Only with Online booking: customers pick a service such as ‘First lesson (60 minutes)’, a day and a time themselves; you set how long each service takes in your account, where the calendar is too.
- About you
- In the example, “About Green Light”: who you are and how you work, with your own photo if you have one.
- Reviews
- Only reviews from your own customers that you add yourself; without reviews this block stays off.
- Where you work
- The places you cover, one by one; the example has 6: Galway city, Salthill, Knocknacarra, Oranmore and more.
- Request a trial lesson
- Only with the quote form and inbox: customers fill in ‘Which licence’, ‘How far along are you’, ‘Preferred date’ and ‘Preferred time’, and each request lands in the inbox in your account.
- Contact
- In the example, “Message us for a first lesson”: call, WhatsApp and email, and your address with a directions link if you show it.

Questions from driving schools
Can I mention my pass rate?
Yes, if you type it yourself, with the figure that’s true. The AI never writes a pass rate or “first-time pass” you don’t give.
Can I say I’m an approved instructor?
Yes, if you are and you type it. Registrations and qualifications you don’t mention never go on your website.
Can learners book a trial lesson themselves?
Yes, in two ways. If you already use an online booking system, your website links to it; that costs nothing extra. Or you add online booking: learners pick a service, a day and a time in the calendar on your website, and you set your services, times and days off in your account. That costs €30.25 to set up and €72.60 a year, incl. VAT.
Should I show the test fee?
If you pass the test fee on, add it as its own line with the amount you charge. When it changes, you update it yourself in your account.
How much does a website cost for a driving school?
Website, 1 page: €67.76 the first year, then €43.56 a year, incl. VAT. Your lessons and packages with prices, where lessons start, and WhatsApp up front. A first lesson is arranged by message. Website, 1 page, with quote form and inbox: €114.95 the first year, then €72.60 a year. Learners ask for a trial lesson with their licence type, how far along they are and a preferred day; you call or message them back. Website, 1 page, with online booking: €170.61 the first year, then €116.16 a year. Learners book a first lesson themselves in the calendar on your website; the regular lessons you plan together. The first year covers making your website, hosting, https and the domain name (a new one in your name, or your own); the years after cover hosting, the domain name and the add-ons you keep. Excl. VAT, that’s €56, then €36 a year.
How soon is my website online?
You see it while you fill in your details, on a computer and on a phone; the copy is written in about half a minute. Once you approve it and pay, it goes online straight away. Then I check it myself, within one working day. If the system flags something, I check first and the site goes online after that. Already have a domain name? Your website runs on it as soon as you’ve set the DNS records at your registrar; you get an email when it’s ready.
