I’m Ronan, and I’ve been driving a taxi in north Dublin since 2014. Mostly early runs to the airport and regular trips to the hospital.

No dispatcher in between: the voice on the phone is the driver too. The car is clean, and we lift the suitcases into the boot together.

How far ahead should I book?

For the airport, ideally the day before. A local trip is often possible the same day: just call or message.

What if my flight is delayed?

Give me your flight number. I’ll check when you land and be there at the right time.

Can I pay by card in the car?

Yes, card and cash are both fine.
