From the gardens
Draw first, then plant
Brendan Westbrook grew up among plant nurseries. Since 2009 he has been building gardens, from thirty-square-metre city plots to old country gardens.
Every garden starts on our drawing board: we measure up, look at sun, wind and soil, and draw a planting plan to scale. So you know up front what’s coming, and what it costs.

Questions from the garden
Do you come and look first?
Yes. We call out, measure the garden and talk about what you want. Within a week you have a quote, and a drawing if it’s a design.
When is the best time to build a garden?
Paving can be done almost all year, except in frost. Trees and hedges we like to plant between November and March, while they rest.
Do you take the green waste?
Yes. Branches, leaves and old soil go to the composting site. That’s simply in the quote.
