About Green Light

We’ve been teaching in Galway and the villages around since 2014, with three instructors and two cars: a manual and an electric automatic.

You practise on the roads you’ll take the test on: the city roundabouts, the dual carriageway and the country roads. After every lesson you hear what went well and what we’ll work on next.

Questions

Can I have lessons in the evening?

Yes, weekdays until nine in the evening, and Saturdays during the day.

Manual or automatic?

You often need fewer lessons in an automatic, but an automatic licence doesn’t let you drive a manual. We’ll talk it through in your first lesson.

When do I sit the test?

When your instructor and you agree you’re ready. You apply to the RSA; we’ll help you with it.
